Cinesa Proyecciones

Cinesa Proyecciones is located between the Quevedo and Bilbao traffic circles, a 13-minute walk from our apartments. It belongs to Cinesa, a franchise of Cinemas located in different parts of Madrid.

Its theatres have the most advanced 3D and IMAX. The latest technology for you to enjoy the experience to the fullest.

What is now known as Cineteca Madrid were the old refrigerators and boiler of the Matadero de Madrid. In 2011, it became an amazing place to enjoy good cinema, thanks to the project of architects José María Churtichaga and Cayetana de la Quadra-Salcedo.

Cineteca specializes in non-fiction cinema and has three screening rooms: Azcona (224 seats), Plató (129 seats) and Borau (65 seats).

It is known as the “City of the Image“. It is the largest cinema in Madrid, located in Pozuelo de Alarcón and has its own subway stop.
